ABOUT ME
"The greatest gift you ever give is your honest self."
Fred Rogers
Essential traits I bring to counseling are empathy, expertise, humility, authenticity, and belief in you. I have extensive training and experience in counseling with all sorts of people. My path has allowed me to connect with people and facilitate personal growth. Once an aspiring writer/filmmaker, I've always been fascinated with perspective, motivation, and transformation. I earned a bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Psychology. Instead of writing/filmmaking, I gravitated towards developing workshops and teaching writing and filmmaking for a nonprofit media arts center. I was most driven when working with individuals on their personal growth. I want to be a part of someone's change for the better instead of write stories about it. I started volunteering at a mental health crisis hotline and went on to earn a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling.

Since 2004, I've been gaining professional experience along with continued training in the areas noted in my approach as a mental health counselor in the Boston area. About a decade of my experience included clinical supervisory roles, while working directly with clients.
My focus has been on this private practice since 2017. I'm honored to be a part of a person's healing and growth through individual therapy. Additionally, the growth of this person might even add to the collective growth of society.
“When I look at the world I'm pessimistic, but when I look at people I am optimistic.”
